Marbled Ornaments

These beautiful ornaments are easy to make and folks love to get them for gifts. Every year I try to make variations on this craft, and our tree is becoming lovely with all of ornaments. I made quite a few of them as wedding/handfasting favors for our friends and family.

Materials needed: 3 colors of craft paint, clear glass christmas ornaments, thin ribbon, & glue gun

Instructions:
    • Take the top off of a clear glass christmas ornament.
    • Slowly dribble into the ornament 3-5 trickles of the craft paint in each color.
    • Place a finger over the opening of the ornament and gently shake until the colors have covered all of the surface, and the ornament has a marblized look.
    • Turn the ornament over onto a container to drain the excess paint.
    • When the ornament has dried (this may take 1-3 days depending on the humidity), place the top back onto the ornament.
    • Using your glue gun, attach a ribbon bow to the top part of the ornament.
